Monarch Airlines have announced that they will provide additional flights to Spanish holiday destinations including Malaga Airport, Majorca and Alicante this month as demand rises for last minute breaks. 22 flights to Spain will be added during the August bank holiday week resulting in a total of 4,000 additional seats between the 27th August and 5th September.
The additional flights will operate from London Gatwick, Manchester and Luton Airports.
Monarch’s MD said “As the pound has strengthened against the Euro we have seen a huge surge in demand for flights to our core Western Med destinations, particularly those in Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and the Balearic and Canary Islands.
