Passengers who have had to purchase new raterescue flight tickets offered for sale by airlines between January 27th and February 3rd as a result of the Spanair collapse can request a refund by emailing: vuelosrescateSPANAIR@aena.es These flights are exempt from fees which will save an average of 8 euros per ticket.
The deadline for requesting a refund will be 13th February. The application must be accompanied by the original or copy of the ticket or boarding pass with the planned Spanair flight plus a copy of the ticket or boarding pass purchased with alternative company
There should also be a copy of the passengers passport or identity card and details of the bank account number to credit the refund.
