The Mayor of Marbella has requested that the Ministry of Public Works create a committee to supervise the works on the A-7 motorway in San Pedro Alcantara to try and get the project finished.
Apart from easing the traffic flow and congestion which is particularly bad in this area during the rush hours, the project will take the A-7 motorway to an underpass which will leave 90,000m2 in the centre of San Pedro for development.
The work should have been finished in 2009 and then last year it was promised it would be done by early 2012. The Mayor said that work needs to be “coordinated so the project can finish as soon as possible”.
